Audition Listings

We try to list as many auditions as possible, but this list is by no means comprehensive or complete.
Auditions are listed in approximate chronological order.
High Point Community Theatre will hold auditions for the final production of its 2007-2008 season, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, at the following times: Pre-Audition Workshop - Friday, March 14th at 7:00 pm; Auditions – Sunday, March 16th at 2:00 pm and Monday, March 17th at 7:00 pm at the HPCT rehearsal space at the Enterprise Center , 305 North Main Street, Suite 322. Parking and entrance is in the rear of the building off of English Street. Those auditioning should prepare a short audition piece and bring sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. Production dates are May 15 – 18, 2008 at the High Point Theatre. The pre-audition workshop is not mandatory but it is a good chance to run through your audition selection with the accompanist and to find out information about the rehearsal and production schedule and process. Auditions for Antony & Cleopatra will be held as follows:
March 14: 6 pm - 9 pm at the Montford Community Center, 34 Pearson Drive, Asheville
March 15: 10 am - 5 pm at the Montford Community Center, 34 Pearson Drive, Asheville
March 16: 10 am - 2 pm at the Hazel Robinson Amphitheatre, Asheville
All productions are free to the public, and donations are welcome. Performances take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at the Hazel Robinson Amphitheatre, beginning at 7:30 pm. For more information call (828) 254-5146.
3rd Stage Theatre will hold auditions for the 15th Annual NC New Play Project on March 31 & April 1 from 7 – 9 pm at Greensboro Cultural Center, Studio 106, 200 N. Davie Street, Greensboro. Auditions are open to anyone age 16 and older. No experience is necessary. Auditions will be by reading from the script. The play will be directed by Jeff West.
